Rick Santorum Is Out!

Rick Santorum, everybody's favorite total and utter douche bag has finally admitted that it is entirely impossible for him to win the Republican nomination for the presidency and will be 'suspending' his campaign.

This is a sad day for anyone who follows politics, as Rick Santorum is widely regarded as the gift that keeps on giving. A never ending fountain of asshattery and bigotry.

Let us recap just a few of his gems:

BREAKING: Obama MISSES Multiple 3 Pointers

In what some are saying might be the most damning footage for this year's upcoming presidential election - Barack Obama, president of the United States, proceeds to miss shot after shot from the three point line.

The story goes even deeper though; if you watch carefully, you'll notice that President Obama *never* retrieves his own ball. He just has one of his socialist henchmen pass him another and another from some seemingly never-ending supply of basketballs.

His political opponents are expected exploit this major weakness; Mitt Romney is rumored to have offered to carry his own golf clubs for the back nine this weekend in a display of solidarity with working-class golfers.

James O'Keefe's DEEP Investigation of Voter Fraud in America

Jame's O'Keefe is at it again. If you're wondering who Jame's O'Keefe is, here's a brief refresher. (He's the guy who just makes up entirely unsubstantiated claims and then supplies 'evidence' in the form of highly cherry picked and edited videos.)

Even though he's been thoroughly and totally debunked in the past, his EYEOPENINGOMGWTF investigations still make headlines and he is championed by many as exposing the massive illuminati-gay-socialist-communist conspiracy that is controlling the U.S government.

His latest work supposedly shows just how important it is to pass Voter Identification legislation to prevent rampant voter fraud and the entire collapse of our democracy as we know it. You can see it straight from the horse's mouth, here.

Where to begin with whats wrong with this. First and foremost, O'Keefe's work does nothing in the way of demonstrating voter fraud. It simply shows that one could potentially cast a fraudulent vote if you had the address of the person and they had not voted already. This is in spite of the fact that exhaustive studies done by legitimate institutions have proven that voter fraud is near zero.

More importantly, the policy that O'Keefe and others espouse is significantly stricter voter identification and 'ID at the polls.' This has been a hot button and contentious issue for quite some time. And people have been making it abundantly clear for years now that all voter identification laws do is make less people vote. Particularly poor people and racial minorities. I.E - Communities that have already been historically marginalized by gerrymandering, the electoral college and denying the right to vote to prisoners. It is an absolute fallacy that there are hordes of leftist, or right wing, fake votes being cast every year. It just isn't true.
